Toby goes to CO to vist his BFF DJ!!

During Thanksgiving break, Toby and I went to Avon, Colorado to visit our friends Katherine and DJ!! Kat and DJ used to live next door to us in Aberdeen.  In October, they moved out to CO! We have missed them desperately!! But, we had a blast spending the whole week with them.  Below are a few pictures of our adventures!!

Going to try to do better!!!

  Well, I have a BIG announcement!!!
  

Toby and I will be moving in late May back to Tupelo.  Well, Saltillo, actually!! We are VERY EXCITED to say the least!!! I hope to go by the house on my way to New Albany tomorrow and maybe take a picture to post!!! Toby will have a screened in porch and a fenced in backyard!!! His mama will have a DISHWASHER again!!!!!  YAHOO!!!!! 
  It's the little things!!!

Toby has a "girlfriend".  Her name is Sida Walters.  My friends Em and Mike have 2 dogs names Sida and Sambo.  Sidda and Toby have become the best of friends.  She lives down the street from us and when we go walking by her house, he always wants to stop and say "hey"!  It's the cutest thing to see the two of them play.  That's why Em and I say that they are boyfriend/girlfriend!!

My 1st Cruise-- Cancun

Well, in January, as it was getting VERY cold and snowing here in Northeast Ms, several of us were headed to Mobile to get on The Elation for a 5 day cruise.  It was FABULOUS!! I had NEVER been on a cruise before!! I must say.... I had the time of my life!! I was the youngest in our group, but I had a blast!!! There was only about 1 day that we were able to go out in our bathing suits, but it was still great!!

     Each day our beds were made and we had a new "friend" on our bed!! I took a class and learned how       to make all sorts of friends out of towels and wash cloths.  I even bought the book!!

This weekend, I drove my mother to Greenville, MS for a conference she needed to attend for the American Legion.  We were able to go to my FAVORITE place, McCarty's in Marigold, and then we stopped by the Kermit the Frog exhibit in Leland.  I had always wanted to see it and since we were there, we decided to stop in!! It was really small.  I don't know what I was expecting! It was just 2 little rooms.  The first room had pictures and a couple of display cases of puppets.  The other room was the memorabilia room! I had a ball in there looking at all of the stuff.  I remembered having LOTS of it when I was a kid.  In fact, I STILL have some of it today!! I would have liked to have seen the dvd they had, but our tour guide talked to us so much, that we didn't have time to watch it!! She was a sweet lady, though!
